randomness.
ms zhu is right. we should stop having late nights... i can really feel the impact of a brain block on early mornings and i'd be used to having such brain blocks that for my morning papers i'd suffer from them too. that's why i was into the nap method. come home, bathe, nap, wake up, do some studying then sleep. it was successful... erm.. for the 1st day :P yest, i thot i'd do myself proud.. but the outcome wasn't anything near proud :( i napped at 8.30pm. no, change that to coma-ed. my usually put my phone under my pillow so when the alarm goes off (and if i'm lucky), i'd wake up. what alarm? i didn't hear a thing! so i happily slept until the next morning!
surprise surprise! what happened to studying P&C for the econs timed prac today? i woke up and realisation flooded me. i secretly wished i had the ability to lay in the comatose state until saturday. somehow, i managed to wake up but in a groggy state. it's always like this every morning. but this morning was special. i think i tripped myself and fell.. on my rear. i think i have a "blue black" cuz it's been hurting since then.
i seriously tried studying in the car to school. i only managed to study till LDMR when i thought: why the heck did i study that? obviously EOS will come out. so i had to squeeze in whatever knowledge of it before flag-raising. thanks mabel. really. to my horror, she said mrs tan said Mkt Structures is included. i really wished i was in coma! please lord! but nvm.. i think as long as i learnt smthg from the prac it's alright. but frankly, it's quite acceptable. but don't think i'll fair well.
break. break. then... MCV! first, we stepped into the audi. saw this super cute caucasian called "eric" in front of me givin' out flyers of a concert at victoria theatre. i was dumbfounded. i almost rolled down the stairs backwards! and then to my utter amazement, i realised that this A CAPPELLA group called THE MAGNETS are performing during MCV (it's a mini workshop at the same time to promote their up-coming concert this sunday).
THE MAGNETS ROCK!!!
seriously, made up of 6 guys from London: Nic Doodson, James Fortune, Mike Welton, Colin Griffiths Brown (gigi's fave!), Steve Trowell (not bad, not bad at all!) and (scream! it's the drummer!) Andy Frost. my heart will melt when i listen to a cappella cuz my cousin's a drummer too in his ex group and he's damn good! their voice is their instrument! and boy do they sound wonderful!!! we enjoyed the whole thing! very good involvement of the entire audience! i can't believe AJ is doing this for us! thank you so much!
after MCV, i was the first to get their autographs! followed by other people who followed and some took pictures. their so courteous! i asked, "hi there, may i have your autograph please?" and they go, "sure!" "the pleasures all mine!" "of course!" "i'd be glad to!" woah! so gentlemanly! *fainted* and Eric who was better lookin' than any of them said, "sure! but i'm not one of the members" i said, "it's okay" he said, "alright, could you hold my bottle for me please?" *swooned* Colin was very nice! very father-like! he said, "may i know what's your name?" i said, "i'm jessica" then he wrote on the paper "To: Jessica..." the way he spoke was like talking to kids. ahahaha! it was a while before Andy and Steve came out! so many girls were taking pics. i just waited for a while then i asked Andy (the drummer) for his autograph. we were in the sun, he said, "haha! i don't really want to be in the sun, shall we go into the shed?"
awwww.... hehe! i got all their signatures! even the female manager, Tanya (: she's very sweet! she wrote a little note for me! photocopied for mamasans n the ms zhu and ms williams! wahaha ms williams must be very happy! then after GP, we hear an announcement: all AJC teachers and students can get tickets for The Magenets concert at 50% discount. aaaaaaahhhhh! we sprinted there lah!!!! yes! stress-reliever! i'm damn happy!
p/s: hehe i enjoyed re-living my N'SYNC days with gigi @ the squash courts! thanks girl! they so rock! i think they're the best a cappella singers too (:
